Since 1972, Ballard's has designed saddles for people who ride every day and need a rugged, durable saddle. A Ballard's saddle is ideal for flat-back horses, draft horses, quarter horses, walking horses and mules.
All of our saddles are handmade, hand-tooled, and come with a lifetime guaranteed wooden rawhide-wrapped tree. Each saddle includes a pad and a cinch.

Need your saddle repaired, re-fleeced, a new seat, or a new fender? In most cases repairs are made the same day.
Repair Services & Pricing
- Refleece synthetic — $200.00
- Refleece sheepskin — $225.00
- New seat with memory foam — $200.00
- New stirrup leathers — $80.00 each side
- New leather fenders — $70.00 each side (tooled to match for an additional charge)
- Saddle clean & oil — $35.00
Open Tuesday – Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with same-day turnaround on most repairs.

Our fully staffed repair shop is located at the Norco Saddles & Tack location.
Layaway Policy
We offer a four-month layaway policy on new saddles. We require a 1/4 down payment of the total price (including sales tax), then three equal payments over a three-month period. If for any reason you do not pay off your merchandise within the four-month period, or at any time you choose to terminate your layaway, the merchandise can be sold and any balance paid towards the merchandise is refundable only as store credit.
