Since 1972, Ballard's Saddles and Tack has been designing and producing original, durable, handcrafted, long lasting saddles and tack. Our saddles are designed for the professional horse rider-someone who rides everyday and needs a rugged, durable saddle.

All of our saddles are handmade, hand tooled, lifetime guaranteed wooden rawhide wrapped tree.

A Ballard's saddle is ideal for flat back horses, draft horses, quarter horses, walking horses and mules. Tom Ballard is serious about his product and is proud of his saddles and how long they last.

Fully staffed repair shop!

Need your saddle repaired, re-fleeced, new seat, or a new fender? We can also build you a custom saddle or repair your old. In most cases repairs are made the same day. We will clean and oil your saddle for $35.

Horse related or not we have custom made orders for customers that have nothing to do with horses. We have manufactured deep sea diving harnesses for the Army and the Navy. We have made Pizza carry cases for New York Pizza. We have manufactured equipment and parts for the movie studios. So keep us in mind for the rare hard to find item and believe that the sky is the limit.

Layaway Policy

We offer a four month layaway policy on new saddles. We require 1/4 down payment of the total price, including sales tax, then three equal payment over a three month period. If for any reason, you should not payoff you merchandise within the four month period, or at any time you choose to terminate your layaway, the merchandise can be sold and any balance paid towards the merchandise is refundable ONLY as store credit.

Repair Shop

Is now located in the Norco Saddle and Tack location.

Our fully staffed repair shop is open Tuesday - Saturday from 9am to 5pm. We usually have same day turn around.
